The Storyboard is the backbone of the Edit module. It serves as the template for video construction. Basically, you add still images and/or video clips to each spot on the Storyboard. Then, when you save your video, all of the components are combined into a single file. When constructing a video, you can add components by going to the Media, Text, Transitions, and Effects sections. (The Media section lets you add still images and video). The Storyboard displays the Media and Transition components that you've added. You'll notice that the Storyboard is divided into several large squares, with smaller squares in between. The larger squares are spots that are reserved for still images and video files. While the smaller squares are reserved for the transitions. As you add still images or videos from the Media section, the larger squares on the Storyboard will fill up, one after the other. As you add transitions from the Transitions section, the smaller squares will fill in. All of the components on the Storyboard are swappable, meaning you can click and drag them to swap them with other components. It makes it easy to rearrange video clips and still images, or swap transitions from one spot to another. Use the slide to scroll through additional components if you can't view them all onscreen.
